Delivery Services is pleased to introduce Digital Mail - a free service that sends campus departments email notifications that contain images and information about their upcoming mail deliveries. Digital Mail is similar to Informed Delivery available through the United States Postal Service (USPS). Here’s how it works:
- The Mail Center is coordinating with account managers for each mail stop to assign a representative who will receive Digital Mail notifications on behalf of their department.
- Once the department is signed up, the designee will receive regular emails that contain images of the address side of letter-sized mail scheduled to be delivered to their mail stop.
- Designees will determine a process for sharing Digital Mail emails.
Digital Mail provides a number of benefits including notifications for those working remotely and/or out on leave. Departments that did not receive a representative request from the Mail Center, can submit one through this Google Form.
Contact the Mail Center at mailcenter@unlv.edu or 702-895-3786 with any questions.
