UNLV is switching to Okta Verify for a faster, more secure ACE multifactor authentication (MFA) experience. The two-factor authentication verification is currently sent via SMS text messaging, which will be phased out over the next year. 

The move to Okta Verify will happen according to the following timeline:

• Administrative faculty and classified staff - June 3
• Academic faculty and students - fall 2024 (tentatively Oct. 1)
