The Formula 1(F1) racing event - the Las Vegas Grand Prix - is a week away. As the city prepares to accommodate the influx of visitors attending the event, please be aware of the following direct impacts to our campus:

November 16-18

• The county-owned lots west of University Center Drive will be held for F1 parking
• Access to Thomas & Mack Center Drive will be restricted

This will likely cause heavy traffic congestion on University Center Drive. We highly recommend avoiding the area and planning an alternate route. 

This is just one of the major traffic impacts we can expect to see around the city at this time. Road closures and heavy traffic are expected on various commuting routes to and from campus.
