Plans are underway for the 2024 New Faculty Orientation, which will be held on August 16 in the UNLV Student Union, Room 208. This in-person event is intended for new academic faculty who have joined the university this year. 

Plans for the day’s activities include short plenary sessions from representatives of key campus units. Breakout sessions throughout the day will offer options to learn about topics of interest to participants. Breakfast and lunch are included, and the day will culminate in a reception and resource fair.

Invitations will be sent to new faculty in mid-July. In the meantime, resources of interest to new faculty can be found on the New Faculty Orientation page.
