By-Hand How-To Workshop: Photomontage Collage with Diane Bush
Express yourself this October in a workshop with Diane Bush. Bush, an artist and curator who is known for her incisive commentary on contemporary society, will show you how to put photographs, stamps, and other 2D materials together to create meaningful multilayered imagery.
The Photomontage Collage workshops will be open daily from October 16–19. Each session runs from 12–4 p.m. but you can arrive and leave at any time. Materials are provided by the Marjorie Barrick Museum of Art. Guests of all ages are welcome. No previous experience is required.
These workshops are part of the Marjorie Barrick Museum’s By-Hand How-To, a series of creative and restful events that will manifest almost every month until May 2025. The project is supported, in part, by the Nevada Arts Council, a state agency, which receives support from the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency, and the state of Nevada.
