Taking summer classes at UNLV has its perks. Most classes are accelerated, so you can take a few classes and still have time to enjoy your summer break. Here is everything you need to know about UNLV Summer Term before you enroll.
When does enrollment begin?
Registration for summer 2024 is currently in progress. To enroll in Summer Term courses, you will need a registration date and time, which will determine when MyUNLV will allow you to enroll. All current active UNLV students were automatically assigned a registration date and time. You can enroll on or after that date until the start of the class.
Open enrollment for non-degree-seeking students begins Monday, April 1, 2024.

When are classes offered during the summer at UNLV?
UNLV Summer Term is broken into three sessions:
Session I: May 20 to June 7
Session II: June 10 to July 12
Session III: July 15 to August 16

How many classes can I take during Summer Term?
Credit limits are created for undergraduate and graduate students and vary depending on the session.
Undergraduate Students: 18 Credits Maximum
Session I: 4 Credits, Session II: 7 Credits, Session III: 7 Credits
Graduate Students: 15 Credits Maximum
Session I: 3 Credits, Session II: 6 Credits, Session III: 6 Credits

How much do summer classes cost?
Are there scholarships available for Summer Term?
Yes, find out more information about financial aid opportunities for Summer 2024. There is a separate form to complete and submit for summer financial aid; you must be enrolled in classes and then submit the form. Priority deadlines vary based on the session. Many summer scholarships are limited, so the earlier you submit, the higher your chances of being awarded.
