Human Resources encourages departments with student employees to participate in National Student Employment Week from April 7-13.

Student employees play a key role in the success of campus operations and Student Employee Appreciation Week is the perfect opportunity to celebrate and recognize them.  

One of the ways is to send a note of gratitude through Rebel Applause. The employee recognition platform allows colleagues to show appreciation to each other for demonstrating UNLV’s campus values. 

Other fun ways to celebrate throughout the week include: 

• Giving a handwritten thank you card
• Bringing in healthy or sweet treats
• Decorating the student employee’s workspace
