If you have considered presenting your research, creative work, or HON 400 class projects at an academic conference, this is a perfect opportunity!
We are now accepting student proposals for the 2025 Western Regional Honors Council (WRHC) Conference hosted by Metropolitan State
Please note, time is short. The deadline is Saturday, Dec. 14.
What is WRHC?
As a student-focused academic conference, the 2025 WRHC Conference provides a unique platform for you to engage in idea-sharing with Honors peers and faculty from universities throughout the west. You will also have opportunities to explore parts of Denver and connect with like-minded people.
How to Submit a Proposal
WRHC is accepting proposals for posters and oral presentations. Interested students must email an abstract (~ 250-300 words) of their proposed presentation to Dr. Bill Doyle (william.doyle@unlv.edu) by Thursday, Dec. 12. Our WRHC committee will then evaluate the proposals and help students with the strongest submissions apply to the conference.
Dr. Doyle invites students with questions to contact him ASAP at william.doyle@unlv.edu.
You can learn more about the conference at the 2025 WRHC Conference website.
