The Graduate & Professional Student Association (GPSA) would like to announce the following agenda items were passed at the Council Meeting on Monday, July 8th, 2024:

1. Ways & Means RSO Committee Update/Discussion of Moratorium: Treasurer Lopez discussed updates on the Registered Student Organization Funding Program and proposed a moratorium lasting until August 16, 2024, to process moving the program from ways and means to sponsorship funding.
2. Moratorium on Emergency Support Grant Application: President Marie proposed a moratorium on funding applications for the Emergency Support Grant until August 16, 2024, to allow time for drafting an operational policy.
3. Moratorium on Open Access Journal Fund: President Marie proposed a moratorium on funding applications for the Open Access Journal Fund until August 16, 2024, to allow time for drafting an operational policy.

As a result, there will be a moratorium on the following programs until August 16, 2024:

1. Registered Student Organization Funding Program
2. Emergency Support Grant
3. Open Access Journal Fund
