About the position
The Office of General Curriculum Access (OGCA) is currently looking for a part-time curriculum developer to create curriculum materials for students with extensive support needs and collaborate with Nevada teachers to improve materials. This is a Letter of Appointment position for at least the Spring 2024 semester with an option to extend if the project is extended. This position is also eligible for remote work arrangements with some in-person meetings on the UNLV main campus during regular business hours.
Requirements
- Must be able to work at least 10 hours per week
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities and/or curriculum development are preferred, but not required.

This newly funded College of Education project is a partnership with the Nevada Department of Education’s Office of Inclusive Education.We are working to provide standards-aligned instructional materials, academic and behavioral support resources, and effective professional development to educators to enhance access to Nevada’s general curriculum.
