Brian Labus, Ph.D., MPH, an Assistant Professor in the School of Public Health received a $1,199,050 one-year award from the Nevada Division of Public & Behavioral Health. The Nevada Healthcare Acquired Infections Project will provide training and technical assistance for HAI-related data collection in collaboration with the Office of State Epidemiology (OSE). It will evaluate compliance with HAI reporting by Nevada facilities; Produce reports on HAI epidemiology and control activities in Nevada; Assist with HAI-related outbreak investigations; Publicize HAI-related topics in Nevada.
