Join the Cannabis Policy Institute State of Research event on May 28, 2024 from 1:30-3:30pm to hear a variety of researchers discussing cannabis topics from across many disciplines.

• Dr. Nick Spirtos will discuss opiate cessation research and research in Uruguay.
• Michelle Tomasino will review clinical trials at UNLV and other schools as well as other cannabis research being conducted at UNLV.
• Dr. Duke Fu will discuss industry research and its interests as well as cannabis research in Thailand and Portugal.
• Dr. Chad Kinney will review research being conducted through ICR and give an overview of ICR.
• Dr. Rochelle Hines will talk about the components of cannabis, focusing on CBD and terpenes, as well as novel derivatives and connections to psychedelics research.
• Moderated by Riana Durrett, Director of the Cannabis Policy Institute
