Undergraduate students at any NSHE institution are eligible to apply to complete a proposed STEM-related research project during the Summer (June 3- August 9, 2024) or over the Academic Year (October 7, 2024 - May 30, 2025) through the 2024 - 2025 NSF EPSCoR Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program (UROP).

Students will receive a scholarship for  $4,000 and $750 materials/supplies for faculty mentors.  Past recipients of a NSF-EPSCoR undergraduate research scholarship under the current HDRFS award are not eligible to apply, unless undergraduate research supports any of the Harnessing the Data Revolution for Fire Science (HDRFS) project themes, outlined on pages 3-4 of the application.

Applicants are strongly encouraged to participate in the UROP Application Writing online series outlined on page 6. Applications and faculty mentor support letters are due Friday, March 8th, 2024 at 5 pm PDT.
