Course Create: GEOG 495 – Internship. We have identified the need for the creation of an upper-division, undergraduate course for internship experiences for our Geoscience department, specifically, those with declared Earth and Environmental Sciences and Geology B.S. majors. This will allow our students to gain valuable professional skills and experiences that can assist them to expand their knowledge and ability to be hired in relevant science and resources fields. |

Course Deletion: BIOL 189 – Fundamentals of Life Science. BIOL 189 was previously offered as a 4 credit course that combined 3 credits of lecture and 1 credit of laboratory work. The course structure was changed. This course is now offered as distinct 3 credit lecture (BIOL 189A) and 1 credit lab (BIOL 189L) sections. The A and L versions of BIOL 189 were first implemented in Fall 2022 and have been offered every semester since then. The old 4 credit course is no longer offered and needs to be deleted. |
