The College of Liberal Arts (COLA) Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Committee announced the inaugural recipients of the COLA DEI Fellowships on June 26. They are:

Assistant Professor-in-Residence, Department of Psychology
Fellowship term: Spring 2024
Project title: Strengthening a Registered Student Organization to Support Neurodivergent and Disabled Students
-Mark Padoongpatt
Associate Professor, Department of Interdisciplinary, Gender, and Ethnic Studies
Fellowship term: Fall 2024
Project title: My Own Story: Strengthening DEI Through Storytelling
Drs. Pasinski and Padoongpatt will each receive a course release that will enable them to complete a service project that advances UNLV Top Tier 2.0 objectives related to social justice, equity, and inclusion. Following their fellowship terms, they will share the results of their projects at the COLA faculty meeting.
