UNLV Professor Steffen Lehmann has a new peer-reviewed article on timber construction published in the Mass Timber Construction Journal. This new research identifies and prioritizes the future of a mass timber research agenda:

• Focus on the current state of knowledge and where the research needs are in mass timber construction.
• As mass timber construction evolves from a niche product to a mainstream, there is an urgent need for focused research activities to support the industry and avoid duplication or overlap of work being done internationally; defining new trends and research gaps that help avoid replicating research.
