If you took Advanced Placement (AP), College Level Examination Program (CLEP), or International Baccalaureate (IB) tests, you may be eligible for academic credit based on your scores. Please know you must send those scores directly to UNLV to receive credit. Please see below for information on how to send these scores to UNLV.

Advanced Placement (AP) Scores

Your Advanced Placement (AP) scores may grant you college credit that can be applied toward your UNLV degree.

To see the scores needed to receive credit at UNLV, please refer to the current undergraduate catalog. Please select Admissions Information from the catalog menu on the left, and then select Nontraditional Credit. Select Advanced Placement (AP) to review the scores needed to receive credit at UNLV.

Send AP scores to UNLV directly through the College Board website.

College Level Examination Program (CLEP) Scores

Credit may be granted for the achievement of a satisfactory score on the College Level Examination Program’s (CLEP) subject examinations.

Satisfactory achievement on the subject examinations is defined as a score of 50 or above.

Send your CLEP exam scores to UNLV through the College Board website.

International Baccalaureate (IB) Scores

IB scores may also give you college credit. Credit may be awarded for credit for each higher-level examination passed at a level of 4 or above. Send your IB scores to UNLV by requesting a transcript through the IB website.
