Transfer Students

Rebel Ready Week is optional for transfer students, but they are encouraged to attend. Registration for transfer students will open in July.

Transfer students are invited to attend College Day, keynote presentations, and passport breakout sessions. Passport breakout sessions will be based on topics that interest them under each of the Rebel Ready Week Pillars.

Event Details

College Day

College Day will be on Monday. During your college welcome, you’ll meet your dean, academic advisors, and faculty members in your major. You’ll also meet your college peer mentors and other students in your major. This day is focused on your degree program and the opportunities available in your academic college.

Keynote Sessions

Rebel Ready Week will include three keynote sessions on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. The topics are Student Success, Health and Wellness, and Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Justice. You’ll hear from UNLV faculty, staff, and students who will be integral to your UNLV journey.

Closing Sessions

At the end of each day, you'll join your fellow students for closing sessions, where you'll learn more in-depth about the keynote topics. These sessions will allow you to dig deeper into the resources and programs available as a UNLV student and build connections with your classmates.
