The certificate will be an 18 credits program that is intended to prepare current instructors of remedial or secondary-level mathematics to be eligible to teach co-requisite introductory mathematics courses in higher education institutions in Nevada or other states with similar programs.

Learning Outcomes
- Demonstrate sufficient depth and rigor of mathematical sciences to instruct introductory college level courses.
