Dr. Jeffrey Cummings, a renowned Alzheimer’s expert and UNLV research professor, was elected as a fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) for his immense contributions to the field of neuroscience. Cummings leads the university’s Chambers- Grundy Center for Transformative Neuroscience and is the co-director of the Pam Quirk Brain Health and Biomarker Laboratory. He is the second UNLV faculty member to be named an AAAS Fellow.
