High School Tournament

The 2022 Golden Desert High School Debate Tournament was hosted as an ONLINE tournament from February 5-7, 2022. We sincerely hope to resume hosting the tournament in-person in early-February 2023. This tournament is one of the biggest and best high school debate tournaments on the West Coast. We host novice and varsity divisions of Policy Debate and Lincoln-Douglas debate, and varsity-only divisions of Public Forum and Congressional Debate. The Golden Desert tournament is a Quarters bid to the TOC in Policy and Gold Public Forum, a Semis bid in Lincoln-Douglas, an Octos bid in Silver Public Forum, and we are petitioning for a TOC bid in Congressional Debate!
