Tammi Tiger (Hospitality), Choctaw, was part of a collective that presented "Beyond Land Acknowledgement to Action: Relationship Building with Nevada's Tribal Nations and Indigenous communities" at the Southern Nevada Diversity Summit. Other presenters included Director of Nevada Department of Native American Affairs and Northern Paiute Stacey Montooth; Fredina Drye Romero from Nevada Department of Education - Office of Indian Education and Southern Paiute; Daphne Emm Hooper, UNR Director of Indigenous Relations and Northern Paiute; and Saundra Mitrovich, Maidu, from the Native American Rights Fund.
