Description
Get ready for a heartwarming afternoon of storytelling and connection!
Join the UNLV Undocumented Student Program for an Open Mic to celebrate First-Generation Week and amplify immigrant and undocumented stories. Featuring special guest, Ucheoma Onwutuebe! Additionally, limited painting supplies will be available for those wishing to create a visual story.
We will be exploring immigrant and first-generation identities with the power of storytelling. All are welcome and encouraged to bring a piece to share - whether it's a poem, song, personal anecdote, or a spoken word piece - your voice matters and your story deserves to be heard.
