Once your tires vibrate passing over your first cattle guard out of the Las Vegas Valley, chances are you are about to stumble into what makes much of Nevada one of the last untouched Western frontiers — public land.
Ticks are the worst kind of pest. Tiny and hard to spot on bare skin, they look like freckles or moles to the naked eye but latch onto hosts, sucking their blood and possibly spreading diseases such as Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever, Rabbit fever (tularemia) and Lyme disease.In 2022, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reported approximately 63,000 cases of Lyme disease.
Man Manages To Get Seat on Last Flight of the Day, but There's a Catch
A video of a passenger bagging the "best seat ever" on the final flight of the day has gone viral on TikTok. The clip was shared by @nabil.o33 and has had 3.3 million views since it was posted on April 15. A message overlaid on the video says: "POV [point of view]: When you're flying standby on the last flight of the day, the flight is completely full, but you were given the option to sit in the back of the plane with the cabin crew."
