Jyoti Mago
Assistant Professor in Residence
Dr. Jyoti Mago is an Assistant Professor in Residence at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, School of Dental Medicine (UNLV SDM), and a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology (ABOMR). She joined UNLV SDM in the fall of 2021 and teaches oral and maxillofacial radiology to both undergraduate and postgraduate students, sharing her expertise and passion for dental education.
Dr. Mago holds dual master’s degrees in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology from Maharishi Markandeshwar University, India and the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine, USA (UConn SDM). Her contributions to the field have been recognized nationally, including being named to the “40 Under 40” list by Incisal Edge magazine.
She is an active member and fellow of several prestigious organizations, including the Pierre Fauchard Academy, Academy of Dentistry International, and Sigma Xi, the Scientific Research Honor Society. Dr. Mago currently serves as Chair of the Pierre Fauchard Academy, Nevada State, UNLV AGD Student Chapter Advisor, and Secretary of Nevada AGD, among other professional leadership roles.
A dedicated researcher and speaker, Dr. Mago presents her work at national and international conferences, contributing significantly to advancements in oral and maxillofacial radiology and dental education.
