Our robust curriculum prepares students for careers in the engineering and computer science fields. Our four departments, consisting of Civil and Environmental Engineering and Construction Management, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Computer Science, rigorously prepare students to tackle the biggest challenges of our day in areas of national need including energy and water resources, biomedical engineering, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, big data, transportation, robotics, and more.
Partnership Programs
As an engineering college with four dynamic departments, we proudly collaborate with Military Science/Army, and Aerospace Studies & ROTC. These partnerships provide students with leadership training, academic guidance, and pathways to careers in defense and advanced technology sectors. By combining rigorous engineering education with military preparation, we equip students with the skills and experience to thrive in both professional and service roles, ready to meet the challenges of a fast-changing world.
“As a civil engineering student at UNLV and captain of the ASCE steel bridge team, I've learned that the true foundation of my education lies in the connections I've built. Engaging with alumni and professors has opened doors to invaluable insights and opportunities. Their guidance and support have allowed me to secure a full-time structural engineering position straight out of college.”Angelina Paoni, Class of 2025, Civil Engineering
