About
The UNLV TRIO Training Institute (TTI) is a federally-funded project that provides professional development events to TRIO project personnel from across the nation. TTI is funded by a grant from the U.S. Department of Education (P103A240017) and holds online webinars and in-person seminars that are lead by a team of nationally recognized experts in TRIO project management and service delivery and that address FY2024 Absolute Priority #3 (Assessment of Student Needs, Retention & Graduation Strategies, and Use of Appropriate Technology in TRIO Project Operations).
Eligibility
Persons eligible to attend TTI’s events include:
- Leadership personnel* of any Federal TRIO Programs project, including Talent Search, Educational Opportunity Center, Student Support Services, McNair, Upward Bound, Upward Bound Math and Science, and Veterans Upward Bound.
- Full or part-time staff members of any Federal TRIO Programs project; or
- Individuals preparing for employment as a staff member or leadership personnel* in any Federal TRIO Programs project.
*Leadership personnel means project directors, coordinators, and other individuals involved with the supervision and direction of projects under the Federal TRIO Programs.

Space at each TTI event is limited, so all interested persons must submit an application for admission to the event.

The TTI will continue accepting applications for each event until two weeks prior to each webinar and six weeks prior to each seminar.
