The Office of Faculty Affairs is pleased to announce the continuation of a series of mentoring sessions for tenure track faculty during spring 2024. These sessions, directed by experienced faculty supervisors, are designed to provide information and address questions in order to better prepare applicants for success in the tenure process.

Session 7:  May 14, 2024

Primary Facilitator: Melissa Bowles-Terry, MLIS; Professor of Libraries

Topic: Building Your Mentor Map

Objectives:

  • Learn what a mentor map
  • What are the components
  • What purpose(s) do the components serve?
  • Develop techniques for the development of a mentor map
  • Learn how to utilize/operationalize the mentor map

All sessions encourage active discussion among faculty across units and also provide time for additional questions to be addressed.
