Description

Have you thought about using AI in your classroom but aren't sure where to start? Are you interested in streamlining some administrative tasks so that you can focus on more important items? We can help you get started with generative AI [(G)AI] in your role as an educator.

On May 15, at noon we will be hosting an AI Kickstart for Medical Educators Workshop. Come learn the basics of (G)AI and try out some tasks that will help you maximize your time. While the workshop is aimed at educators in the Health Sciences, everyone is welcome.

The workshop is offered in a hybrid format with an in-person option in the Medical Education Building (Shadow Lane Campus), an online Zoom option, and an option to receive the recording if you can't make it. Sign up today to kickstart your (G)AI usage!

Workshop learning objectives:

1) List at least three readily available (G)AI tools that can assist educators and recognize their strengths and limitations.

2) Discuss ideas on how and when to leverage (G)AI tools in educator activities.

3) Obtain step-by-step beginner-level instructions and tips on using common AI tools.

4) Demonstrate selecting and using an AI tool to complete a common educator task.

Lower the threshold to get started with generative AI today!
